Intelligent, mobile measurement center, equipped with Freescale digital signal processor DSP 56311 150 MHz and 1.5 MB memory, USB 2.0(480 MBit/s), full compatible to USB 1.1 (12 MBit/s).

Available as 16 channel version with 16 mass-referred/16 differential input channels, all channals have IEPE ICP® powersuply. The device is equipped with 16 Bit AD- and DA converters. Summary sample rate rate is 500kHz, conversion rate 100kHz 16Bit, output range 0-10V, ±10V. 24 bit by bit configurable digital in/output channels, external triggers and external clock. 2x32Bit-50MHz event- (resolution 1/10/100/1000Hz) or cycle duration counter and pulse-width measurement (resolution 20ns). Optional: single-channel 32Bit incremental measurement, programmable 1x, 2x and 4x interpolation, maximum input-frequency 20MHz, neutral position detection disengageable, with time stamp (resolution 100ns). Maximum reading frequency 100kHz. The timestamp allows a highly-precise speed measurement. Overvoltage protection for the analog-channels: ±40 V off-state/on-state. 220V AC/5V DC power supply, FIR and -IIR filter, and online-FFT. are included in the package.

The IEPE ICP® supply is available with all 16 analogue input channels of the measurement card. All inputs have a closed instrumentation amplifier; each of the inputs can be switched between DC and AC measurement, as well as difference and mass-referred measurement. The feed of the IEPE ICP® sensors happens directly via the BNC sockets, with 4mA at 28V as supply voltage. To the amplification on the main board of 2/4/8 now another Gain 10 stage comes, for amplifications of max. 80. Each input channel has a bandwidth limitation of 100 kHz, the sum scanning rate amounts to 500 kHz. All signals are captured synchronously, that means that the counters, the digital signals and the analogue input channels where transmitted synchronously with the AD-data. With the IEPE-supply extension the MultiChoice USB is usable in a completely new range of applications like acoustic, vibrations and sonar measurement. The IEPE variant of the MultiChoice USB has all characteristics known form the other USB systems.
