Multifunction cards IDAS (Basic Series)

Portable galvanically isolated USB 2.0 measuring system, the analog inputs are DIN IEC 60381-1 and DIN IEC 60381-2 compliant.
16 ground related/8 differential inputs. Mixed acquisition of differential and ground related signals is possible.

Almost any sensor can be used directly, since the inputs conform to the standards DIN IEC 60381-1 and DIN IEC 60381-2, see also Wikipedia standard signal.
The acquisition or output of analog measured values is carried out on these systems with a resolution of 16 bits. The sum sampling rate is 2MHz.  Per converter the sampling rate is 1 MHz.
Seven input voltage ranges between ±12.28V and ±0.64V per channel separately selectable, injection of a DC offset voltage at common possible for optimal utilization of the value range. Input protection of analog inputs: ±30 V when switched on or off.

4 channel D/A converter, conversion rate 10 kHz 16 bit, output voltage range ±10 V.

2 x 32 bit universal counters see technical data, pulse, frequency (resolution 10Hz), pulse width, period/ incremental counter resolution 20ns or single channel 32 bit incremental measurement, 1x, 2x and 4x interpolation programmable, switchable zero detection, timestamp resolution 100ns, the timestamp allow extremely accurate velocity measurement.
The counters and digital inputs are acquired synchronously with the analog values. External trigger & clock.

Digital port: 8 opto-decoupled inputs (Ue. 2,4 -30 Volt) and 8 opto-decoupled outputs, for direct control from relay up to 60mA per output. Isolation voltage 1000V
The supply voltage of the digital outputs is supplied externally in the range of 3.3 to 30 volts. Isolation voltage 1000V.

MultiChoice IDAS in a stable, shapely aluminum cast housing. Analog signal connections via BNC sockets on the housing, digital signals via removable Weidmüller screw terminals.

The devices are supplied by the USB bus.
